Enrolment Information
Enrolling at EGESC
To be considered for enrolment at Eastern Goldfields Education Support Centre, parents and carers are required to provide documentation confirming a diagnosed disability.
If your child is new to an Education Support Centre and you are unsure about eligibility, please begin by completing the Expression of Application for Enrolment forms. Once submitted, the school will contact you to arrange a meeting with the Principal to discuss eligibility and the most suitable pathway moving forward.
Please note: completing these forms does not guarantee acceptance of enrolment.
Education support facilities may offer enrolment to students in the following diagnostic disability categories:
- Students with an Intellectual Disability or Global Development Delay who are eligible for an Individual Disability Allocation under this category.
- Students with eligibility for an Individual Disability Allocation for Autism Spectrum Disorder and a demonstrated high educational need.
Confidentiality
All information provided on this form will be treated confidentially (Section 242 of the School Education Act 1999). The Department of Education may provide a report to the Department of Health regarding enrolled children whose immunisation status is ‘not up to date’, upon request. The Department of Health may then provide support to families of under-vaccinated children. Children whose immunisation status is ‘not up to date’ may be required to remain at home in the event of an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease.
