Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS)
HASS learning at EGESC supports students to understand people, places, communities and the wider world.
Learning is aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum strands of Geography, Civics and Citizenship, History, and Economics and Business. HASS is delivered through discussion, inquiry, visual resources and real-world learning experiences. Students explore their local community, environments, history and decision-making through practical activities such as storytelling, investigation and excursions.
Learning also supports students to ask questions, gather information, explore perspectives and communicate their understanding in meaningful ways.
