Therapy Services at EGESC
Accessing Therapy During School Hours
EGESC works with families and therapy providers to support students to access therapy services during school hours where appropriate.
Before on-site therapy can begin, all required consent and compliance paperwork must be completed, checked and approved by the school.
Therapists requesting access to provide therapy during school hours must complete the required access process, including the therapist request for access and parent or carer consent documentation and complete a site and WHS induction.
Therapists must also provide current compliance documents, including a Working with Children Check, public liability insurance, and either a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check or a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Parents and carers do not complete the therapist access forms, but they must provide consent for therapy to occur on site.
On-site therapy cannot commence until all documentation has been completed, checked and approved by EGESC.
