Work Placement Learning Program
Work Placement Learning Program is designed to support Year 11 and 12 in transitioning from school environment to workforce. It provides meaningful, real-world experience that increases student’s employability and helps them prepare for life after school.
The program is tailored to each student’s individual needs, strengths, skills, and interests. It aims to develop work-readiness skills and attributes essential for successful employment.
These are fostered through a combination of school-based lessons, workshops, incursions, and excursions, as part of a structured ‘Work Ready, Job Ready’ program. The same attributes are used by employers to evaluate student performance during placements.

Workplace Learning Component
Students participate in workplace learning in their chosen industry, allowing for training and assessment with them to apply skills learned at school in a real-world setting.
Each student maintains a logbook to record:
- Tasks undertaken
- Skills learned
- Hours worked
